Hoya kerrii, also referred to colloquially as Hoya hearts, is a species of Hoya native to the south-east of Asia. Its eponymous collector is Arthur Francis George Kerr, Irish physician and botanist. As the thick leaves are heart-shaped, the plant is sometimes named "lucky-heart".

Cacti should only be watered when the potting soil is a minimum of 90% dry. As succulent plants, small to medium-sized indoor cacti will typically need to be watered every 10 days or more during spring or summer months and every 4 to 6 weeks during winter.
They do best in high light exposure with lots of bright light and full sun. These aren't low-light plants. At least 6 hours of high light per day is their sweet spot. In general, cacti need more light than those fleshy succulent.
One common cactus soil recipe includes three parts potting soil, three parts sand, gravel, or grit, and two parts perlite or pumice. Mix this ratio of ingredients thoroughly in a large container before using it to plant your cacti.
A low-nitrogen fertilizer is best for cactus species. A 5-10-10 blend works well, and should be diluted with water. Apply the mix of water and fertilizer to the soil around each plant until it is fully drenched, and then allow the soil to dry completely before watering your cacti again.
