Care Instruction

Watering

Adeniums thrive with balanced watering – avoid overwatering or drought. They prefer neutral to hard water, not acidic. Use well-draining small pots. Water in the morning, let them absorb throughout the day, and water daily to every few days. Don't let them sit in water or dry out too often to prevent early dormancy. Stones in the pot aid drainage.

Light

Adeniums require bright sunlight for healthy growth. Cloudy conditions can make them leggy with less vibrant blooms. Some types tolerate partial shade (30-50%) to avoid foliage burn.

Potting Mix

A blend of coarse sand and coco-peat, with a 3:1 ratio of mix to perlite, is generally sufficient to enhance aeration and drainage in most situations.

Fertilizer

To boost a robust base/trunk and enhance flowering, use a quality fertilizer with a higher middle number (phosphorus) and avoid excessive nitrogen. Never apply fertilizer directly to roots and refrain from liquid feeding when the plant is thirsty; water lightly first to prevent root damage and leaf loss.
